Alexander Draper Wolff (or simply Alex Wolff) was born on November 1st, 1997 in New York City, New York. He is an American actor and musician known for The Naked Brothers Band (2007), as well as My Friend Dahmer and Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle (2017).

Personal life

Wolff was born in November of 1997 to actress and writer Polly Draper and jazz pianst Michael Wolff as the younger brother to actor and musician Nat Wolff .

Career

As musician

Alex and his older brother Nat was very young when they came up with the name "The Naked Brothers Band " in the bathtub. They later formed the music group with their friend Cole Hawkins. The name was changed when Cole left, and it became The Silver Boulders with the addition of Nat's pre-school friends. The band's name was reverted back to it's original title in The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie (2005). Wolff was the drummer of the band while Nat was the lead singer-songwriter and keyboardist during the time the TV series based on the movie ran from 2007 to 2009, and together released two albums for their respective seasons under the Nickelodeon/Columbia label: The Naked Brothers Band (2007) and I Don't Want To Go to School (2008).

After the band split up in 2009 after the series cancellation, the two brothers became a duo titled Nat and Alex Wolff. Since then, they released one studio album under their current label, Saddleup Records: Black Sheep (2011), and one album released under the Nickelodeon/Columbia label titled Throwbacks (2013), the latter being the unreleased soundtrack to the third and final season of the TV series.

Acting life

Wolff began his acting career by starring alongside Nat as himself in The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie (2005). He then reprised his role as the drummer of the band in the mockumentary series of the same name from 2007 to 2009 where he had wrote and preformed more songs by each season. After the series cancellation in 2009, he has had a successful acting life the following decade. Notable acting roles include My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (2016), My Friend Dahmer (2017), and Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle (2017). In 2018, he starred alongside mother Polly Draper and Nat in Stella's Last Weekend.

Some notable television appearances include Mr Troop Mom (in 2009), Monk (in 2009), and Divorce (in 2016).
